It is about 70 km. from the mainland and about 15 km. from Koh Samui. Pha-ngan is the largest of Samuis neighboring islets with an area of 168 sq km. Over 70% of its total area are mountains and tropical forest. Lowlands are beaches and coconut fields.

Alternatively, you can choose the access by bus or train stopped at Surat Thani province, then take a ferry of Songserm Express at Tha Thong pier or Racha Ferry at Ferry Donsak port.
